FAGs about international patients visited Iran
Based on the surveys, most international patients come from neighboring countries and some from beyond. Some have taken advantage of Iranian health services as tourists and their visits have not been reported officially. The bold countries are Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Georgia, Oman, Pakistan, etc. European patients are also visiting Iran. In addition to that, most Iranians living abroad still return back to Iran to receive the same services available there due to the high prices and costs abroad.
